Field Set for 2017 EWGA Cup Finals

The 2017 EWGA Cup Series, presented by Baird Private Wealth Management, continued this past weekend with the Pacific, Western and Southern regional qualifiers on September 23-24. Both the Pacific and Western regionals were held on the Mountain and Palm Courses at Angel Park in Las Vegas, NV. The Southern qualifier, which was originally postponed due to Hurricane Irma, was held at PGA Golf Club in Port St. Lucie, FL.

Qualifying for the 2017 EWGA Cup Finals is now complete and the field has been set for the Cup Finals on October 27-28 in Daytona Beach, FL at LPGA International.

Now in its seventh year and one of the premier competitive events run by the Executive Women's Golf Association, the EWGA Cup is a team-based competition consisting of Four Ball and Singles Match Play. The Series begins with eight regional qualifiers throughout the country during the month of September, with teams competing to earn a spot in the 2017 EWGA Cup Finals, also presented by Baird Private Wealth Management. The Finals will be held October 27-28 in Daytona Beach at LPGA International.

The Cup’s format mirrors the professional golf formats used at the Ryder Cup, President’s Cup and Solheim Cup events. The event encourages women of all skill levels to compete, promoting friendly, fun competitive play among its membership. Clever team names and colorful, coordinated outfits added to the friendly competition.
