  1. What is the EWGA?

A community of women who share a passion for golf and all it brings to their lives. Founded as the Executive Women’s Golf Association, EWGA helps women get involved in golf for business reasons, for friendships, and for fun. Members learn the game, improve golf skills, and belong to a supportive network from coast to coast.

  1. Do I need to be an executive to join EWGA? Who are EWGA members?

Women. College students. Corporate groups. Working women. Retirees. Moms. Those who have never held a golf club before. Those who play competitively. Those who play socially. Those who join for the networking and friendships. Some mentor others. Some love the social gatherings. Everyone is welcome, and the EWGA provides value to every member. And because EWGA is about inclusivity, men are welcome to join too.

  1. What is the difference in the member levels and why would I choose one over the other?

The EWGA offers the Classic membership to meet the needs of our diverse member community, and it includes one Chapter of your choice. You can join additional Chapters for $35 each. In addition, discounted membership options are available for Seniors (65+) and Young Professionals (18-30).

  1. What does it cost to join?

Membership is an individual annual membership renewable 12 months from the date joined. For new members joining EWGA for the first time, Classic membership is $155, Senior membership is $125, and Young Professional membership is $75. Renewal fees for Classic and Senior members are reduced $25 after the first year, and the dues amount for the Young Professional members remains the same each year

  1. Is there a local group near me? Do I need to join that group separately?

With Chapters in 41 states, including the District of Columbia, and four countries, the EWGA is an active participant in hundreds of communities. You can check the Locations tab at the top of the EWGA website and search by your city, state or zip code to find the location nearest you. If you are unable to find a convenient Chapter in your area and are interested in helping to start a new Chapter, EWGA staff will be glad to assist in every step of the process. There is only one price for joining EWGA, and it includes membership in the Chapter of your choice.

  1. What if I am not a golfer, can I still join?

A large percentage of the new members who join EWGA every year have never played golf! Every EWGA Chapter has volunteers who coordinate golf clinics to help new golfers learn the game, the etiquette, the lingo, and everything you need to know to feel comfortable on the course. And as soon as you are ready, the Chapter has organized play dates, leagues, and events to integrate new golfers into all the activities. EWGA has programs to improve golf skills for all skill levels.

  1. Are there corporate memberships available?

EWGA works with interested companies to personalize a membership program that best meets the needs of the organization. Some companies simply want to purchase or subsidize membership for a certain number of employees, and other companies request a combination of memberships and special clinics or speakers, or might also include sponsorship of other EWGA programs.
